With 19 years of experience in upholstery, Anton brings a high level craftmanship, international experience and a passion for quality to every project at Central Lakes Upholstery ​.

​

Originally from Germany, Anton completed his professional Upholstery training and for several years he was involved in conducting final examinations for apprentices in Munich, helping assess the next generation of skilled upholsterers. ​

He also successfully ran his own upholstery business in Germany for seven years, gaining valuable experience in both craftmanship and business.

​

After relocating to New Zealand, he establishes Central Lakes Upholstery in 2019, continuing his passion for creating, restoring and transforming quality furniture. Today, he specialises in furniture upholstery, boat upholstery and custom-made headboards, combining traditional craftmanship with modern fabrics, materials and design.

From the initial consultation through to the final stitch, every project receives personal attention and precision in workmanship.
